LinkedIn Learning Champion

Oct 2020 - March 2021

LinkedIn Learning Champions are a diverse group of on-campus leaders who take charge of their learning journey and inspire others to do the same. Throughout this program, students leverage their passions to drive initiatives, grow their network both on and off campus, engage in tangible experiential learning opportunities through a series of projects that allow them to build an impressive portfolio, setting each Champion up for future academic and professional success. The following are projects that I worked on during this program to spread the word about the free resource at SJSU:

Article

I wrote an article for Her Campus at SJSU called "Utilize LinkedIn Learning for Free as a Student" .

Learning a New Skill

Happy New Year LinkedIn post encouraging people to learn something new in 2021 using LinkedIn Learning.

Ended the post with "Comment below or DM me something you want to learn or accomplish in 2021 and I will send you some titles on LinkedIn Learning to check out! 😊" which started a discussion in the comments.

Highlighted the collection feature on LinkedIn Learning.

Instagram Stories

Interactive Instagram stories educating followers and SJSU students on what LinkedIn Learning has to offer and how to sign up through the SJSU portal.

Online Speaking Events

Her Campus at SJSU Collaboration

Collaboration with Her Campus at SJSU and former LinkedIn Learning Champion, Keely Hamilton.

Hamilton taught the organization about social media management and shared her career journey.

I spoke at the end about some social media courses that students can find on LinkedIn Learning to kickstart content creation. I also shared how to access LinkedIn Learning and showed the interface.

Panel Discussion

Five LinkedIn employees spoke about the topic of "lifelong learning" using LinkedIn Learning. As we pursue our dream jobs and careers, we will always be learning.
